quick trip

Michigan was a great time. Mom and I ventured around Ann Arbor Friday evening, indulging in a delicious dinner at the Prickly Pear and a sweet treat afterward at Chocolate House ( as you can see, haha).

 There are a lot of artsy shops on Main Street overflowing with neat finds such as; quoted paintings, handblown jewelry, wood boxes, freshwater pearls, etc. and it was fun to pop in and out.  If you are ever in AA, you must check them out.

  Saturday morning we got to see JSC- finally! After three weeks, his camp at U of Michigan ended and we got to sit in on one of his classes with the head of the musical theatre program. It was exciting to see what he had been up to! 

What a fun little day-and-a-half trip to Michigan!
